Alex graduated from Notre Dame University in 2015 having competed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (History major) and being awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Medal for Undergraduate Studies.
Alex began her career in the law in 2016 employed at an international law firm working across a range of areas including mining, renewable energy, utilities, environment, litigation and native title. Alex also undertook a secondment to the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency which saw Alex live and work in Katherine in the Northern Territory for six months. Alex was exposed to a broad range of civil matters.
Alex also has general litigation experience and represented parties to native title proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia and worked for several months in Sydney and Melbourne on the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.
Alex joined MDS Legal in January 2019 and now practises in civil litigation with a focus on professional indemnity claims for Law Mutual (WA), the insurance arm of the Law Society of Western Australia.
